Very good restaurant. I love the food here and staff was very kind. Ordered grilled squid, was very tasty. I highly recommend this place.
Iconic restaurant in a small nondescript little location on a hilltop in Nazare with great views that all locals frequent, famously known for its grilled sardines and fish stew . Reputation well earned. Our order for lunch included Clams , grilled sardines and fish stew with a side salad one olives All dishes exceeded our lofty expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed each dish would have had more if we had room in our stomachs. Higher recommend it when Nazare.

Excellent grilled sardines, generous portions, and very affordable prices. The egg-based dessert was also great. The only downside was the staff, who weren’t particularly welcoming or friendly, either when we arrived or during service. Given the peak tourist season and how busy the place was, it’s somewhat understandable.
I loved this restaurant and even today and still trying to replicate their bacalhau recipe after having found an authentic Portuguese market here back home. I will I could go back for more, we enjoyed everything we ate and recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful area. The only negative I had was I stopped in to ask for a table and they told me they had none yet the men went in about 20 minutes later and got a table….
