About Aleluia
“The most amazing experience dining at this restaurant. The name of the rest is the owner’s grandfather’s nickname . Seafood restaurant with the freshest fish and seafood. We had fish stew , freshly made so wait for about 30min. Heavenly. The grilled sardines were excellent. We tried one dessert which was to die for. The menu Hoi es in other tables looked delicious. The restaurant was busy, service excellent , and great staff. Last thing we did was having a shit if Azaro Ginjinha with the owner. Highly recommend a visit either for lunch or dinner. An absolutely beautiful, stylish, and cozy family-run restaurant in Nazaré. You can feel the heritage and traditions in every little detail, from the charming ceramic sardine plates to the thoughtful presentation and even the names of the dishes. The food is prepared according to family recipes passed down from their great-great-grandmother, and the cuisine perfectly blends tradition with a modern touch. The presentation is incredibly refined, almost conceptual, giving classic Portuguese coastal dishes a fresh, contemporary expression while preserving their authentic soul. The service is wonderful: attentive, warm, and full of genuine care. You can see how much love and dedication the family puts into everything they do; they’ve been running this restaurant for many, many years, and it truly shows. As for the food-everything is delicious, interesting, beautifully balanced, and full of both simplicity and depth. Traditions are honored, yet elevated through a modern approach. Very special dish - monkfish with rice, secret recipe from grand grand mother; an absolute splash of flavours. Highly recommended!
We just had the perfect lunch. Fresh seabass made in a traditional way with fresh sides dishes. Staff is super friendly and service oriented! A big plus is the wide range of wine as you can see on the picture:-)
Honestly this is an amazing restaurant at the Nazaré Beach front. The fish is really fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is really outstanding. Be prepared to have the time of your life. This is a very family friendly place. You will enjoy.
This place was recommended by a colleague and we were glad that we tried it! We enjoyed the 2 person fresh grilled fish platter which included sea bass, mackerel, salmon and sardines. For our sides we got the seasoned vegetables and the rice with sausage and greens (a lot like Jambalaya). We also loved their little bread box with seasoned butter, tuna salad and olives! The large windows in the front allow guests to enjoy the ocean views. They also had the only live music going on the block, which we were able to enjoy for our whole dinner. Obrigado, Aleluia!
