Very Portugal vibe. The food was delicious and very well and beautifully served. We were seated well with a tiny bit of wait because it was lunchtime and people started to arrive. We are lucky to arrive a little early.
We came to this restaurant on a recommendation from our surf instructor and were so glad we did! We didn’t have a reservation, but the owner kindly did his best to accommodate us. The staff were extremely welcoming, and the owner (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) was so kind, personable, and impressively multilingual. My partner and I ordered the sardinhas assadas and the sea bass with shrimp — both dishes were excellent. You could really taste the freshness and quality of the fish. A few tables around us ordered the seafood rice, which looked absolutely incredible. If we had more time in Nazaré, we’d definitely have come back just to try that! Overall, this place is a gem — fantastic food, warm hospitality, and a great local atmosphere. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Nazaré, but definitely try to make a reservation first!
Everyone was most welcoming and made excellent suggestions for dinner. The bread and olives were tasty to start with, and the squid skewer was exceptional!
Delicious! We had the sea bass and the codfish. Both were wonderful. The house wine is very inexpensive and quite good. A straightforward and well executed presentation of extremely fresh fish. The owner is quite friendly and wants to make sure you are enjoying your meal. Tip: They do take credit cards, unlike a lot of other places in Nazare. The place fills up quickly, so recommend reservations.
The best meal and the best service!!! Everything we had was amazing. Clams, grilled sardines, shrimp, Cataplana!!! Best meal in Portugal. Our host was so much fun and so friendly in spite of being extremely busy!!! I highly recommend this small local restaurant!!!
