The clam cataplana is wonderful. However the seafood rice is a bit too salty. We love the traditional restaurant, however the service can be better.

It is such a pleasure and privilege to enjoy a meal in this distinctively special restaurant in Nazaré. The monkfish and lobster cataplana is a considerable local delicacy that leaves you enthralled with a savory blend of fresh as it gets seafood in a perfectly balanced tomato based broth. The owner is a true gentleman, with a passion for ensuring his guests are treated to a one of a kind seafood dining experience. If you’re looking for a warm meal on a cold night - this is it. My favorite meal in Nazaré by a long shot.
great place for seafood. we had the shellfish and lobster rice, it was a very big portion for 2 and very tasty. good wine, quite good prices. nice authentic atmosphere. would definitely come back.
Typical Portuguese meal, fabulous service by the owner, fresh clams were fabulous so were the sardines. The restaurant adapted to garlic allergies from one in our party. Highly recommend
