We will take you to the place where the world record for the biggest-ever surfed wave was broken- several times! It's a Meca for adventurous surfers all around the world. You will visit the Surf Museum, at the São Miguel de Arcanjo Fort, the Nazaré Sanctuary, and the Memory Chapel, and will be able to have a breathtaking views. Last but not least, you will also get to know Nazaré itself, a one-of-a-kind traditional fishing village, its narrow alleys facing the sea, and its old traditions like the “Dry Fish” and the puzzling “sights” of local women wearing their famous seven skirts. You also explore the most charming medieval town of Óbidos with an experienced and knowledgeable guide who will take you through the history and tales, the streets and alleys, the castle and the churches, the fine art, and (last but not least) the sweet and authentic tastes of this ancient Portuguese land (the famous Ginjinha de Óbidos- on a chocolate cup!). Starting in Nazaré, we will then head to Tomar, a city steeped in history that is home to the magnificent Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 12th century. Our next stop is the charming town of Fátima, a significant pilgrimage site for Catholics worldwide. Here, we will visit the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of Fátima. We will then discover the remarkable Monastery of Batalha, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire its Gothic architecture and intricate stonework. Our tour will also take us to the impressive Alcobaça Monastery. Finally, we will stroll through the enchanting medieval town of Óbidos, renowned for its whitewashed houses, and picturesque castle walls.

Our bike tour begins in the picturesque Portuguese town of Nazaré, known for its giant waves and traditional fishing boats. Leaving the coastline behind, we'll head inland along country roads, breathing in the fresh air of rural Portugal. The road will take us through wide fields, gradually changing into well-maintained apple orchards, where we can catch the sweet scent of ripening fruit. Our destination is Alcobaça, a historic town with a rich heritage. Here, you’ll find one of Portugal’s most impressive monasteries – Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This grand Cistercian monastery, founded in 1153, amazes with its Gothic architecture and towering columns. Inside, you'll find the famous tombs of King Pedro I and his beloved Inês de Castro, whose tragic and romantic story has become one of the most iconic in Portuguese history.
